Well, blow me down! I've been so busy with my day job that nobody told me I'm currently a finalist in the 2024 Page Turner Awards Screenplay Awards.

I have been quietly working on a new script/book that may (or may not!) ever see the light of day. However, after submitting the first episode to the All3Media group and being shortlisted for their New Writers Residential workshop, I might just carry on now…

I am thrilled that Certified has been officially selected in the 2024 Best Script Awards-London. This recognised IMDb qualifying competition is for talented screenwriters from all over the world and is followed by many producers looking for suitable scripts.

As I embark on the transition from author to scriptwriter, I'm thrilled to announce that my TV Pilot for Certified is a finalist in the 2024 Cambridge Script Festival.

On this day two years ago, my debut novel, Certified, was published. It's been quite a journey.

THE 2023 INTERNATIONAL BOOK AWARDS (IBA) is one of the world’s largest international book award programs for mainstream, indie, and self-published titles. Awards were presented for titles published in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Certified has been out for just over 18 months and the surprises keep coming.

Wow! What a year this is turning out to be. My “baby”, Certified, has now picked up the winner’s award (humor) in the 2022 American Writing Awards.

I think this makes me an honorary Yorkshire American!!
