North Yorkshire West Federation WI Autumn Lunch

I was recently asked by the WI North Yorkshire West Federation to talk about my book Certified, the inspiration behind it and growing up in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Set in the magnificent venue of The Gamekeepers Inn, Threshfield, it was an emotional and humbling occasion with over 150 WI Ladies from across North Yorkshire listening to the tales and events that made the book possible.

I had a wonderful time and everyone was so supportive and kind. I felt a bit of a fraud as they queued up at the end to purchase a signed copy, the line stretching out into the corridor, but it was so lovely to chat with many of them individually and hear their little memories of the Yorkshire Dales.

A very special day and a memory to keep forever.
